Junior Church

St Mark’s has a flourishing Junior Church, ably led by Penny Norris and a committed team of helpers. Junior Church takes place every Sunday in term time, except when there is a Family Service.

The age range is 4-11 and there are about 10 children who attend regularly.

The activities include colouring and craft work, generally on the Biblical theme of the day. Much of this work is of an extremely high standard, as the congregation of St Mark’s will vouch for, as the children join the main service towards the end and are given an opportunity to present their work.

Penny’s fellow ‘team leaders’ are Jan Coombe and Valerie Penney, ably assisted by Sarah Bell, Alison Chapman, Fiona Coombe, Gwynneth Frampton, Diana Mosley and Glorie Singaratnam.
