Weddings

The Sacrament of Marriage is an outward and visible sign of God’s love and grace. In marriage two people come together to make a public declaration of their life-long commitment to one another; they promise to love each other faithfully and in so doing they take on a new legal status as husband and wife.

When a couple chooses to marry in church, there is an added dimension in that they are publicly acknowledging God’s involvement in their future life together and receiving His blessing upon their union.

St Mark’s is a very beautiful church and offers an ideal setting for this special occasion. It can accommodate a large crowd but is equally suitable for smaller intimate weddings, each ceremony adapted to suit the needs of the couple. Outside, the grounds are well cared for and ideal for those all important photographs.
