St. Mark's Women's Circle

The Women's Circle meets in St Mark’s Large Hall on the 3rd Wednesday in each month at 12.30 p.m. for lunch at 1.00 p.m. Lunch is followed by a talk.

Our aims are: Friendship – Service – The Christian Way of Life


Our meetings are very friendly events with plenty of time for socialising. The membership is currently around 45. There is an annual subscription and a small charge is made for the lunch, which is prepared by members of the committee. Fruit juice or wine is available with the meal and tea or coffee is served after lunch.

This is followed by the talk, which lasts about an hour, and we finish just after three o’clock.

There are 11 meetings in a year, including a special lunch at Christmas and in July (no meeting in August).
Each year we support a charity and sometimes hold fund-raising events.
