St. Mark’s Community Youth Choir offers young singers in the 9 – 18 age group a place to sing a wide range of music to the highest standards, in a fun and inspiring environment.
The repertoire will include classical, pop, musical theatre, gospel and jazz, sung in unison or four part harmony.
There will be social activities and events as well right through the year.
The leader will be Diana Van Dromme, an accomplished professional musician specialising in singing and conducting.
There will be no auditions for the choir, and no previous experience is necessary. The ability to read music is not required either. Sessions will be free, but regular attendance will be expected.
Rehearsals will be at St. Mark’s Church on Mondays from 4.30- 6.00pm, starting on 18th November.
Please come and start to enjoy the many benefits of singing. It will help you develop your singing voice, boost your energy, improve your mental and physical wellbeing, and give you the opportunity to belong to a community of friends.
We take our responsibilities to our community and its young people very seriously, and the choir will be run by trained and DBS-checked adults in a safe environment.
Please contact Diana Van Dromme or Rev’d Fiona Weaver on firstname.lastname@example.org or 020 8668 0063 for more details and a registration form.
Please print the flyer and give or email it to your friends.
